Spiritual Resolutions

January 11, 2017

For quite a few years now, I've had an interest in playing the violin. But I've never really gotten serious about it, and I certainly haven't put any plans in place to learn how to play this magnificent instrument. In 2017, that's all changing.

What if we made spiritual resolutions? Many of us have heard about people planning to learn new skills, eat more fruits and vegetables, or keep their inbox clean. But what if we also believed faith dreams and goals were also important as part of looking ahead, growing, and adjusting our way of life?

We hope you'll journey with us during the month of January as we reflect upon and take practical steps in our faith journey. We'll explore how (by the grace of God) we can intentionally grow in areas of faith, love, service, and giving.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.

--Ephesians 2:8-10

Blessings and peace,

Pastor Karl
